Going Away Present

I am in love with my manager at work, but she is leaving next week to start a new job and move to Minneapolis. I am too depressed to talk about it, but I made her a going away present:


I'm still not sure if I am happy with the spacing between the different components, but I am proud of myself because I put together the design entirely using free patterns I found online - the big "LB" is StitchPoint's "Paris" alphabet, the words are Victoria Sampler's backstitch alphabet, and the rest is from Kincavel Krosses' Birds and Blooms sampler. I especially like the bird's swirly tail, and the little dots around it:
 

Off to drown my sorrows in more cross stitch...
